Goan Table: Memory, Ritual, Land

As a main sponsor at the Goa Open Arts Festival, our challenge was not to stand out as a purely home appliances company but to meld in the cultural vibe of the festival and make the brand relatable to this group.

Goan Table: Memory, Ritual, Land looks at one of the most popular cuisines in India, the ever-popular cuisine of Goa, dive deep into its history, culture, and folklore, emerging with a new kind of currency—one where food becomes a keeper of a vast history. We decided to go beyond the obvious choices and find an inclusive way of telling this history. 

This experience included an exhibition, a book made specially for this, a film, and samplers of food echoing the exhibition, book and film - the history of six important foods that we feel form the backbone that is a testament to this unique amalgam of cultures.

We also included recipes that are adaptable in this modern world in your modern gadgets in simple steps so your kitchen will evoke sounds, smells and tastes of a rich tradition and culture spanning centuries.
